so my little old humsuckler took at poppin' n buckin' again today I thought fuel filter again. popped it off blew threw it backwards ... goddamnit doin it again.. ok so next I get the seafoam out and the Pcv is sounding funny. I gave the PCv a drink right from the bottle and it solved it. or so I thought....
will a bad Pcv cause bucking and missing or is my truck dying...

To answer your question, no... to ask a question what is '90 Female?

I assume it's a 2.2 carbed truck?

I'm almost certain it's the PCV doing it. I'd like to hope so... yes it's carbed and it was running fine i don't want to delve into that yet since this is my daily driver.
Thoughts of the engine going down, the exhaust ends shortly after the manifold catalytic converter, and I have been running it stock car track style for about 2 weeks that can't be good for a tired old 4 banger with 200k and the EGR delete has been done... I wonder if the 10mm bolt fell out of the egr systems main vac line.... I removed the egr tubes and plugged the holes and also removed the reed body from the air cleaner, as well as unplugging the associated vac line to and from the electrical switch on the passenger quarter. where the t was in the vac line I put a 10mm bolt as a plug. I'll check.

thoughts?

The '90 Female is one of the most reliable rides in the stable but she usually just ends up complaining and doing what my truck is doing, sputtering.
More often tho she is more akin to the VW. She won't do what I want her to do because she, like my VW, is broken. lol

You can't really delete all the emissions stuff without going weber. Really messes with the factory carb.

All that's been removed is the egr.

a little update, I swapped the pcv and the spark plugs it appears to have improved when it comes to putting around town, I'll have to wait and see Monday on my morning commute if there is a real improvement.

I picked up my exhaust pipe and thrush glass pack today too and installed some new pioneer speakers to replace the old ones (the foam ring had totally disentegrated on both the originals lol)
