I have a 32/36 DGEV on my 1988 Mazda truck,it has a manual fuel pump and is a 5-speed. in tuning this carb I turned the mixture all the way in until it seated but the odd thing about this is its running great but it should be trying to die or stumble, now I have had a burning rich problem ever since I ordered the carb. the weber is new from redline Weber, the best adjustment on the mixture screw is 4 or 5 turns out and thats not right and still burns very rich and drinks gas no matter where I set the mixture. on the speed screw I have it 1 1/2 turns in so still burning very rich and getting poor MPG so anyone know what the problem might be.I have new NGK plugs, belden wires new dizzy cap button etc etc PCV new as well and new fuel filter.

I can relate to this I also get very bad gas milage with my weber and the idle never really dips or changes even though im turning the screw

If your mixture screw doesn't affect the idle, then your throttle stop screw is adjusted out too far.
Adjust the throttle stop screw, until the rpms drop, and engine barely runs.
Then, slowly turn your mixture screw out, until the rpms don't rise anymore, then go back in 1/2 turn.
Now set the throttle stop screw to the desired rpm.

These adjustments will not affect mileage, only idle characteristics. If mileage is an issue, you may need to run a smaller primary jet.
