Just order the steering component kit of eBay for $84 any tips on installing it. I've never done it before but have read up a lot on it thanks in advance.

If you got a pitman arm in your kit, you'll need to get a puller. If you got an idler arm, you'll want to put some red loctite on the nut on top... it will come loose if you don't.

Heres a detour, but this is applicable to address if you are under there. If I'm doing the steering im spending the money for all the bushings i can find without overseas shipping. There are NO vendors online that sell the correct swaybar to frame bushings. Two seperate times i have bought them and both times they are too large, and the new hardware is off by at least a quarter inch if you choose to use them to line up with the bolt holes in the frame. YES i did a search, and no results. Sadly most suspension threads on here are about tearing it all out and bagging, using another make and model truck to look good sitting still and so forth. I shouldn't have to put in 18 months of fabrication tech school to R&R worn components. I need oem style replacements and oem style upgrades no more no less /rant

Autozone loaner puller. Works on my VW and Yukon too. Borrowed it several times, ended up just buying it, used it Monday in parts yard to pull that power steering gearbox.
