HELP!!!!

I have a 87 b2600 that i bought an the turn singles were working an then it started blowin fueses like crazy that controll the turn signals and now i have no turn signals an no tail lights i bought the haynes book for my truck an im relly not getting anyware is it possible to wire the turn signals an tail lights to a toggle switch ??? each having their own switch ?? please help this truck has got me confussed <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" title="Question" />

Check your turn signal bulb sockets for corrosion. They've been known to short out after they get rusty.

Yes.

It's easy enough to pull the lens and do a visual inspection. Pull the bulbs and look for rust.

You could also disconnect them temporarily (from inside the engine compartment) and see if the fuse doesn't blow.
