So I just put a 2.2 in my 86 xtnd cab that was out of another truck that was rebuilt. The only thing I have to do is replace the oil pan gasket because it's hitting the fly wheel and it's cork so it peeled away now has a Lil leak. The other issue is the water tube that runs along side of the block under the exhaust manifold. It leaks up near the water pump. I mean looking how to replace that rubber outsole ring to stop it from leaking any suggestion on how to get that tube out.

There is a bolt under the exhaust manifold that you have to remove in order to pull the metal line out of the pump. It holds the metal tube in place and it bolts into the block.

Take that oil pan gasket off! These trucks don't use one and it will leak. Use RTV and you'll never have a leak.
