I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere but I've seriously spend hours looking and can't find answers that make sense to me and my situation. I am in the middle of installing my Weber and Pacesetter. My question is.... What do I do with the Thermo valve and the lines when NOT using an EGR?? Also the 3 metal lines on the passenger side firewall, fuel lines, where do I route the vapor line I believe it is with no canister. Also wondering, beings from ND it gets cold here and wonder if I need to retain the ptc heater under the carb. If so how would it go in the stack of plates?

The PTC heater shape/orientation only matches the top of the intake manifold, so the PTC heater can only go there as the two Weber adapter pieces are different shapes. So to use the PTC heater, you'll likely need longer screws (special allen head metric machine screws with tapered head), and I've actually seen those in stock at Ace Hardware, in the little drawers. I'm in Arizona, I don't use the PTC heater (so I've got one if anyone really needs one).

Ok thanks Cusser. Can I cap off that far left metal line beings I'm not using the canister? I think I will skip using the PTC heater for now and see what happens.

Can you post a picture of them? Think you don't need any of that though.

I'll try to get a photo of my canister anf passenger side of my engine too.

Far left line is the one I'm wondering about

Aren't those lines; fuel supply, fuel return and a brake line? You shouldn't have to touch them.

I can't even tell what his photo is showing, too zoomed in. I'll side with Dan W. though.

Since I have a Weber carb, here's what I use to block off the heat shield over the exhaust manifold. I used lug nuts from O'Reilly to cap the threaded ports no longer of use.

Here's my home-made EGR block-off plate. "Next time" I'll include an "ear" with a hole for the throttle return spring. The dark stuff is dried Permatex Aviation sealer.

Here's how I have my canister hooked up: from carb and back to the fuel tank area, others capped off.

There is a vent line coming down with the fuel lines, that should stay open to atmosphere at the very least, its where excess fuel pressure is vented from the fuel tank.

Thanks for the help guys. Sorry the pic was so zoomed in it was the only was to see. The hose on the left I'm referring to has green on the end and I just left it zip tied up by the hood bracket. I finished it up here tonight for the most part. Starts, runs, drives! It's pretty loud running an open header lol. Tomorrow I will get a flex pipe and finish the exhaust. I'll try to take some pics if you guys would like to see

Got it all wrapped up tonight here. Tuned it a little and it seems to run great. What a difference to be honest. I wasn't expecting such a noticeable difference. Again thanks for the quick answers and replys.
