I'm pretty sure. Are there any hidden on the back the need to come out before it will move?

If I remember mine from almost 4 years ago, there are the 10 big bolts that hold the cylinder head to the block. I did have a rubber mallet, and mine was original condition from late 1987 manufacture, so 24 years on there, and mine wouldn't budge either.

So I actually called Axel Breaker Earl on the phone, and he told me to re-attach the rear engine hanger/mount (used to remove the engine) to the cylinder head and tap on that, and that worked for me.

So I deemed him Saint Axel Breaker Earl for that.

I finally got it apart by prying ever so gently between the two halves. Now the thing just turns over and backfires really bad. I'm sure it's a timing issue and will check more into that later
