ok i have a 91 b26i it starts up runs fine for 2 seconds the idles like it has huge cam then dies. i unplugged the white connecter that runs by the iacv i unplugged the white an it ran the same. i unplug the black and ran worse. then unplug both didnt run at all. i unplugged my maf while runnin an ran the same. i already replaced it 3years ago. can someone give me some insite on where/ how i can test to see if the maf and or the iacv is bad. thanks lmk
you may want to contact Kyris6 on Mazdatruckin.com he's a mazda motor Nut (and i mean it in a good way) he maybe able to steer you in the right direction .
my truck does that and its the iac. they just get filled with junk and get clogged. i would suggest trying to clean it out with brake clean or finding on at the junk yard cause they are a little pricey brand new.
i cleaned the maf,iacv an still ran the same. i did the self diognostic test an no luck. so idk. i found an iacv for like 40 on ebay, a maf for like a bill maybe. so idk
