92 4x4 Issues

Ok Just looking for some help just bought a 92 2600i and its stuck in 4x4 low the shift lever wont let me shif out it moves back and forth but when i pull down to neutral it does nothing and it wont let me move right to put ion 4x2 just up and down and also the rfw wont dissengage the front hubs and advice or help would be great.

sounds like shifter linkage may be broken

ah ok so i assume i need to drop tranny to check that out any advice on what im looking for

Almost positive it is a shifter fork issue. You will have to drop the transfer case to access it. Good luck.
