9/11/01 Where were you?

Just wondering where everyone was then, I was underneath the atlanta airport in the Delta employee break room watching everyone panic then I saw the second plane hit and me and my dad left and went back home.

i was in law enforcment class in school sitting there as a teacher whispered something into the other teachers ear and then we turn on the tv and in a couple mins later i saw the 2nd plane hit the building. i wdont hink i will ever forget that day and what i was doing i also had a may 2001 issue of sport truck that i was reading instead of doing the class work

I was sitting in pyschology class when the teacher left the room for a second, she rushed back in and turns the TV on. Then I saw the second plane hit. A good friend of mine was in absolute tears, her uncle worked in one of the towers, he died.

i was a freshmen in highschool.
I was in my Earth/Space Science class. It was a half day of school that day, we had just got to class from lunch and the tv was on when we walked in. Our teacher was known for movie days, so we all sat down thinking it was a movie. Then our teacher told us it wasnt a movie and it was really happening, at that point in time the second plane hit and everyone got silent and we all realised what was really happeneing. They closed school earlier than supposed to that day.

My sister was supposed to be in NY that day................she didnt go, thank god.

i was a junior in high school and was in my 5thperiod economics class and my teacher who was also my football coach got the whisper from another teacher and then there was an announcement over the pa telling all classesto turn on fox news and we all watched the horor unfold i will never forget that day or where i was and waching my teacher breakdown into tears it was te most horrific thing that ive ever seen and its why i joined the military and why im re-enlisting in the navy

I was skipping school, I was a senior and it was a halfday. I had just gotten laid and was out with her getting tires put on. I watched it on tv at the tire place

i was sophmore in high school, the teachers were told not to allow us to watch the news at the time because it may spread panic...so we got on the internet and looked at pics and read about what was going on...finally the teachers gave in and we watched the news

I was a sophomore in college and was getting some breakfast at the school's diner and saw it on the news there. Went to work after class and the boss sent everyeone home due to everyone being so distracted.

Ironic where I was really. I stayed home sick from school that day and had just gotten up and turned the TV on. News casters were talking and all and showing pics and not too long after that I saw the second plane hit right infront of my eyes. I was pretty devasted. I couldnt believe what I had just seen. It was really sad. They really weird part of this was when the columbine shootings went on I stayed home sick that day too and I got up just in time to see the news that day too.
