Guys need some exp from you whom have installed c-notch and 4 link and 3 link. I have been doing some research and was wondering in you could use truck bars ??????? they use the in NASCAR , basically as I see them they are just 2 bars with 4 mounting points (per bar)on the rear axle to correct pinion angle as the suspension travels up and down with 1 mounting point in the front. this can be mounted at the same point as the second piece of the two piece drive shaft point (long bars). what do you think do able or (feedback please)I have my old truck that needs alot of body work but was thinking of using it as a test bed to see if it would work correctly . the piece in the front is the sway bar then the two truck bars and a panard in the back where the springs are or maybe a little further to the front would be the bag mount points (this should give you a nice ride ?)

I think that you would have pinion angle problems because the extreme amount of travel with lowering and raising..

^^ hes right about pinion, but if you get it set at ride height it will be fine.

what you have there is a 2 link w a panhard. a lot of guys run that setup bc its easy and allows more clearance above, like an suv w rear seating. I personally have never rode in one so i havent a clue about ride quality, but i would imagine it would be just as good as a 4 link bag on bar setup. Make sure your 2 link attachment parts on axle are fixed, no endlink, welded/bolted to axle so your axle doesnt roll fwd or backwd. The only drawback to your panhard bar is the axle will move left to right if you have a lot of movement in rear, like lots lift. If you want it to stay centered throughout all movement, use a watts link instead of panhard.

Hah.. I missed the panhard.. my truck has this setup on it.. well kind of. the rear bars attach to the top and bottom of the axle.. via welded tabs.. long term I plan to replace with a 4link..

Yeah I see that, and have accounted for the pinion angle the ride height would be about -3 to -4 but primarily would use this to slam the bed so I could load my bikes easier, getting old 50+ I have seen something else that might be an idea it looks like a traction bar but it is bolted to the front leaf hanger u bolted along with the diff. it then had a bag mounted over the diff to allow you to handle heavier loads (offered by Firestone) this could be modded to move the bags behind the diff and mini notch the frame. going to check to see how low a mini notch will take the bed.
