i got a 91 manual trans b2200 single cab, on air ride.
i recently went for a cruze and looks like the drive shaft pulled out of the transmission. and the center carrier bearing was pulled out off the frame..
its a 2 piece drive shaft..
any ideas?

Its your reverse link setup causing the problem.

I concur with trplezro. Have someone cycle your rear suspension and watch the driveshaft.

thanks for the response guys, and the video.
i understand that when raised or lowered it changes the pinion angle
and the distance it moves forward and backwards. and im ok with it.
but i jus need to figure out how to get a functional drive shaft in it....
should i go with a one piece? or maybe leave the 2 piece and make the rear one telescopic?

They key would be to find what height you drive at normally and have it so your shafts are in not pushing in or pulling out at that height. Then limit your lift by putting the bags over the axle over the axle or running a much smaller bag. If you're going to buy a teloscopic, buy a one piece.

i went to a upullit and bought a 96 ford ranger 2 piece driveshaft and cut the slip yoke out of it had it welded to my drive shaft and rebalanced......so i have a slip in the drive shaft and it takes the strain off the center bearing and keeps it from pulling out of the tranny
