grade 8 vs grade 5 ?

hey guys , need your opinion...i was told at tacoma screw that id be better off with a grade 5 bolt for my upper bars on my 4 link vs grade 8 ...he said grade 5 is used on most aftermarket suspenions ...grade 8 had a hight tensil strengh but will sheer vs bend ...whatcha think>?

Did you know roller coasters are required(in USA) to use grade 10 hardware, but most go with grade 12 anyway? I think you got some false information, but there won't be anything to cause a shear on your truck unless you're in a wreck... then it won't matter much, will it?

well...i know ...i have grade 8 on the rest of my truck ...i was just taking this guy that worked theres word i guess...im ganna swap em for 8s tommorow

Yeah ...ive never heard of anyone using grade 5 on suspension . Grade 8 for sure.
