steering shaft interference bodied and bagged...

alright, i'm bodied 3.5" and when fully laid out, my control arm hits the steering shaft. Anyone else experience this? also, only idea i can come up with is cutting the firewall and moving steering column/shaft up.

I cant help since were only bodied 2.25" but id like to see a pic for reference if you can get one? Might give others a better idea too

Cut a notch in the control arm and weld a piece of pipe in for clearance. Just like old timers used to c-notch the frame for the rear axle.

i'll post a pic monday, i'll be out of town until then. trying to get a head start, gotta make sure everything is tip top for mini truck nats in maggie valley next weekend
