86 b2000 stock carb mod

this is the adapter i made for my 86 b2000 not sure if anyone tried to do the same but i think it looks awsome and very cheap mod. i made a 6 inch round plate with a 3 1/16 in hole in the center then welded a 1 1/4 in long section of 3 1/2 in schedule 80 pipe witch just happens to be 3 1/16in id so it has a snugg fit welded them togather and there you have it. to hold it down i used a piece of 1/4 20 all thread kind of hard to find 6mm all thread around here just tap out the center of the carb and tighten it down like i said not sure if any gains but it looks cool as hell happy draggin

and yes the hood will clear with out any mods

Did you cap off those 3 hoses?

You should make some and sell them! I would buy one.
