All of them are compatible, with varying degrees of modification.
The only ones that are direct replacement are from like trucks. ie: 2000, 2200, 2600.

if you have it in your hands, start pulling and see what's what
Otherwise sin's right.
I hear you guys don't have much in the way of LSD diffs?
The most popular conversion it seems is fitting an RX7 diff etc back there.
if you do the whole lot you can have an lsd, rotors and 5 studs. if you're really adventurous you can have IRS too!
(search and you will find)

Hey hows it going? I'm Nate,

I'm new to B Scene But I picked up a Spare rear end, and a clutch lsd and ring and pinion off of a 84-85 mazda rx7.

All the splines lined up perfectly, it bolted into my spare rear end. I have a 1987 b2000 Btw. I heard that the rx7 Transmissions are compatible too. But I'm tight on money even though I have a spare b and rx7 tranny. But once I figure out what needs to be done I'll let ya know! Def check out that year lsd Though!
