There is never an adjustment required with electronics.
Nothing welds closed, or burn up if you leave the ignition switch on too long without the engine running.
Once you have electronics, a tune up consists of plugs, cap and rotor, and possibly wires.
Also, for those of us who live in emissions testing areas, sometimes gap and dwell have to be manipulated in order to pass!

Points don't suck, but... yeah they really do suck!

How much do they go for new?

Pretty wide price range, at least on ebay.

... and you might need a middle man here in the USA for shipping.

Rock Auto has them too.

Points work fine for stock cars.electronic upgrade isn't really needed until its been modified if ur running a stock carb u won't be able to tell the difference

Isn't this set up requiring a matching ECU and the cables as well? Just wondering I've never seen this version of the B before.

But I like the parking light covers next to the headlights.

I switched out a points distributor for an electric one with no mods, all the wires were the same and all, im not sure if your talking a hole new ignition system or not, but with the stock ignition system, u can switch from a distributor with points to an electric one.

You could also buy a kit, like pertronix or similar ( I put a crane kit in my '72 celica) it is super easy and cheap.
