I want to remove my emissions. I have read that you cant just pull out the stock emissions from the stock carb. I also read that if you want to lose your emissions go to a Weber carb. What are the differences between the stock and the Weber that allow me to run without emissions. Also are the any mods I may have to do in order to get the Weber to work or is it a plug and play type of deal.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I would go with the weber(redline). It is pretty much plug and play. You will get better tunibilty, mileage, a slight bump in power, and you can unplug the computer and remove all the junk on the passenger fender. I did it as many others have and it's one of the best mods you can do. That and when you floor it the sound is awesome.

go with redline. They are more expensive but better quality than ebay. I got one off of ebay(webercarbdirect) and had problems. Returned and got a redline. no problems going on a year now.

Yeah. The ones on ebay have fa tory defects but are approved for resale. That's why they sell the so cheap.
