The rims are 17x8 , I am not lowered or altered any in hieght. Im not looking to do any fender rolling , ive read that for the 18x8 rims you have to "massage" the bore or the center of your hubs "not sure correct term for that".

Simple question , will they fit? If so what size tire do i need? I will not be tucking or dropping just want a good looking wheel to fill the wheel wells out.

Is the bolt pattern even the same? Nissan switched to a smaller 6- bolt pattern at some point.

They are off of a 2005. 17x8 is what the guy selling them said.

edit - i totally misunderstood the question , yes im pretty sure they are 6x139.7 or 6x5.5 whichever you go by

Heres the wheel

Ok so from 4 hours of internet searching and lots of reading from my understanding the rims are actually 17x7.5 with a 45mm offset. With me at stock ride height i believe i could clear these but what do i need tire size wise?

225\40\r17?

I HAVE NO CLUE , THATS WHY IM ASKING FOR HELP.

But through research it says if i run a 225/50/r17 im only .98% bigger in diameter then my current setup which is 205/75/r14

You will have to grind the tabs off of the discs in the front and drums in the rear. The 17s will fit no prob and with the 18s you will need to invest in some 35 series rubber.

If you plan on bagging your truck your truck will have to run 4x4 fenders and bed, have rear wheels machined down a tad or maybe use a Chevy wheel.
