They really are easy to do, just get a flap disc or 2, like 60/80 grit, and also a 120. Do all 4 corners with the 60 or 80grit, them polish them off with the 120. Realistically, its gonna take you about 45-60 mins from start to finish. There is less chance of screwing up with flap discs instead of actual cutting/grinding discs, and you could still thread lug nuts down for added protection, but flap discs are by far the fastest and safest compared to cut/grind discs. It took me like 2 hours the first time using 1/4" thick grinding discs. Less than 40 minutes on my old std cab with flap discs.

Like 91extcab said, make sure you put an old set of lug nuts on while your grinding... Trust me you'll be happy you did. If I hadn't I would have seriously messed up my studs. Don't worry to much about messing the lugs up since your going to be replacing them all anyway.

It's really easy to do just take your time and be conscious of where your sparks are flying, fire is bad lol also a full face shield is awesome,

Before you start cutting, try installing a wheel. Tab grinding may not be required.
