I am browsing the local craigslist ads looking for wheels and tires for my 2wd b2200. Its at stock height, and I'm curious as to what size rims and tires I can fit. Its going to be a daily driver so I'm not looking to slam the truck or tuck the rims. I've seen rides on here with 18s and 20s but they're all tucked. I'm wondering if I were to get a set of 20s what size tires would I have to run? I'd like to get 17 or 18s but 20s are much more available. Thanks for the help guys.

If youre staying stock ride height id suggest 17's or smaller.

225/35 is the smallest tire I'd put on rims but even that small is 26" tall, ~3-4" taller than factory if I remember factory size correctly. They would fit with the right offset but finding an offset that'll work on CL is difficult. I wouldn't go bigger than 18s on a daily, imo. You jus gotta have some tire in these small trucks!

I don't know about these rims you are talking about I run wheels on my truck I run 14's, 15's and am currently looking for 16's.

Oem (2WD) size is 205/75/14 = 26.1" tall

225/50/17 = 25.9 so that is good

225/45/18 = 26.1 so same as stock

Keep in mind if going stock height then you can run these, if lowering you need a much shorter tire - lots of people use 205/40/17 or 215/35/18

Also make sure your offset is close on the rims you want to buy as they could stick out or rub

And if you want 20"

225/35/20 = 26.3"

Planning on keeping the stock ride height so those numbers are perfect. Although all the 20s I've seen are off of trucks and tahoes and I don't know about getting a 235 on those... I also found some nice black bulletholes 15 inch but they're on all terrain tires and they're 31s... would it be possible to raise the truck just a hair with the torsion bars?

I wouldn't run 31's on a 2wd. look at my sig. my Toyota has 31's while my Mazda is running stock size tires. although my Mazda is lowered 3 inches and the Toyota is stock height.

i plan on running 31" tires on my truck, but I have a stronger engine and beefed up suspension on that one.

The ad says it needs new tires so maybe I can talk him down and just get rid of the tires.
