Immortal1's new toy...

Well as many of you know I sold my purple truck after owning it for 21+ years. I now have a new toy to play around with. Call it a mid life crisis or what ever but decided to get something with a little more power and kinda take me back to my younger days when I owned a 1969 Ford Torino Cobra.






And of course I could not leave well enough alone.... FYI the entire engine cover was plain black plastic before I started


Ended up launching the stock (way to quiet) mufflers in favor of some Flowmaster 40's


And my most recent mod... the stock hood scoop was non-functional from the factory Had to fix THAT little boo boo....






Well, there it is. Still planning on doing a few things to the daughters truck while she is off at college so I will have to update that thread as soon as I get started

p.s. I guess I totally forgot to mention that this is a 2011 Dodge Challenger R/T

How do you paint the flames?

freekin sweet

Basically it was all done free hand with the air brush. Used rattle can DupliColor translucent orange and red as a source of paint for the flames. The factory Toxic Orange was regular car paint and it was cleared with regular car paint.

These flames on a Harley were done using a similar technique

Thats pretty slick man. Think it will be a 21 year built 6 time project?

Thanks guys for the comments. As for being another 21 year project, who knows. Probably knowing me. Rob, mine is rated at 370 ish HP. Not sure if thats more or less than other 5.7 Hemi's but eitherway it is fun.
