Ok, its about time I made a build thread for my Toyota truck. That and I am bored on a Thursday night.

I bought the truck back in April for $1000. 19x,xxx miles
Has a header, custom intake, exhaust work, saw blade wheels, billet grill, window vent shades and hood deflector.

First thing I did was replace the front lower valence.

put seats from a 90's SR5 4runner in it, and a console from a early 90's Ranger/Explorer.
(no pics)
I got a roll bar for $150 off of cl.
removed the rusty rear bumper and tailgate.

I am a swap meet/craiglist whore and found a rear tube bumper for $20

In August I got a parts truck to replace the rusty bed, doors, and fenders.

All body work done and in primer already. bonus woop. Switched tail lights as well don't like the tuner lights that where on it.

Then last week I got a 70-74 Chevy LUV pick up bed trailer for $50 that I plan to put the rusty red bed onto. Then lower it so I can use it to haul tools and what not when I AutoX with the Mazda.

Already have some of my junk in it.

Plans on it are to put on the wheels from the Mazda with some new Nexen tires. then some performance upgrades: RV cam and air sensor off of a 80's Supra. Not gonna bang it up on the rocks. This is going to be a street queen with some minor off roading.

I am trying to make this like someone would have if it was the early 90's. It will have some influence from Back to the Future but of course that truck was the previous body style.
I hope you enjoy and I will update slowly on my 2 trucks as I progress slowly.

Newest update. Got the spare tire carrier of off CL for $48. They go new for like 150ish. Already had the tire and wheel sitting around. Wheel is from an 84-88 Toyota truck.

Currently fixing the front brakes on it. Just waiting on parts. It's getting all new lines, calipers, pads, rotors, shocks, sway bar end links, and rebuilt lockouts.

Here's my 71 Luv trailer all dolled up. Might rattle can it black as well. Put my old wheels from the Toyota with some lower profile tires on it. Got my toolbox all mounted where I want it. I did have to cut the wheel wells out to get it to fit but it's a rusty cheap trailer so I don't care. The front piece of metal is for speed stickers. I did put a new wiring kit and lights on it. So far invested in the trailer $60 for trailer, $50 for toolbox, $20 for lights, $50 for tires, and $25 for wiring.

brakes are done. it only took this long cuz I broke the brake lines. So I had to order some new ones from Toyota. And they must of shipped them by carrier pigeon.
