Looks like it is coming together great! Too bad all this stuff did not shown up at one time very soon after purchase. With all this stuff pulled at one time, blasting/painting the underneath would have been easy.
These muscle cars are really great, I miss those days, but then, now there are way too many troopers in most states to stretch out and enjoy them like in the '60's-'70's.
HAD:
'66 G.T.O., 389 bored .030" to 400 (6.6) four speed, 4:11 posi-traction. Top speed 125, but did 115 in a quarter (total by cross turn in front of me, I was not speeding, in '72)
'69 Dodge Charger, 383, four speed, sold '74, not a G.T.O. by any means.
'74 Mustang II, v6, four speed, 5 grand in fourth, 110,m.p.h. top. I sold in '77
'77 Smokey & Bandit 6.6 TA TransAm automatic, full deal package (Y82 (Hurst tee top model) with thousand dollar pin stripe kit h/p engine). any shift above two grand to second, left twin stripes. Perfect the power sliding the mountains of TN. and going really fast too. Only 90 m.p.h. in the quarter, right after shifted out of second at 85. Sold in '81, moved to MS, could not start it without going to court for a ticket (something about the car cops disliked).
Lastly '66 Chevelle (red/white vinyl top, white bucket seat and interior) received for work done in '82, no engine. Built a 327, 11:1's, 310 duration cam, stall convertor. Had to sell after a few months, guy would not stop twisting my wrist, made me take too much money.
Since then a car/truck is something to get from point a to point b.

Guess I got carried away, Dan on that rant, I wish now to retract most of it.
Have you checked the aframe bushings? With all the major undercover stuff you have found, don't overlook these. After all,... the thrill of it is better if you can depend on them, knowing the condition, new. Just saying 45 m.p.h. in a curve clearly signed for 20 m.p.h. requires faith in what you are pushing! That would just be ...... being prepared, if the event ever presented itself (a 40 m.p.h. @ 85)? But of course, never doing any of that stuff, just sayin', fun is in knowing you are ready to dog that new "fast" vehicle straight out or in the curves. Yeah, better add a beefy rear sway bar too (and of course a larger one on the front). Need to have rearend wheel weight 82% of front, the Bandit was that way.
