So my 97 Cheyenne with a nv3500 5 speed manual tranny I'm having no clutch till near the floor ( hydraulic clutch) I've bled the clutch slave cylinder today with minimal luck, could this be a bad slave or master cylinder? Thanks in advance

Just one question.Did the truck say a week before have good clutch pedal grab.If the clutch was not slipping in a specific gear or all of them I would lean towards the cheaper fix.Sometimes a lot of details helps isolate if it is a major or minor component. That is what I thought of and give me touch of lee way as I just getting over a virus that just kicked my rear.

Yes it did, and still does, when I can get it to run, truck grabs n goes! I'll have a decent pedal one moment (after bleeding) the next it soft n gears grind, then manually pumpingbthe clutch will bring it back to a half decent clutch.

Also may I add its been negative 20 an lower past few weeks

These really do seem to match with clutch hydraulic issues. I'd replace both the clutch master and clutch slave cylinders.

Clutch cylinders hints and tips
(1) Bench-bleed the new clutch master cylinder before installing.
(2) Use a flare wrench for initial loosening and final tightening of the lines.
(3) Don't bend the lines after they're loose
(5) Thread in the line fitting several turns by hand to avoid cross-threading
