Jus wondering if a b2600i 4x4 ex cab driveshaft is compatible to swap onto a ex cab b2200? Reason being my brother inlaws rear universal broke so instead of paying $100 bucks for the part at Mazda, then paying a machine shop to press it in, we jus wanted to swap out the entire driveshaft and theres a deal on a b2600 complete shell so yea. Lmk guys, thanks.

I doubt they're the same. The 4x4's have a transfer case mounted behind the transmission, this would require a shorter rear driveshaft. I'm pretty sure the longbed shaft will work, but I KNOW an automatic 2wd shaft is about an inch shorter, but had plenty of spline engagement and worked fine as a replacement in my last 5speed truck, doubt a 5speed shaft would work in an automatic.

Yea I kina figured the 4x4 would be different. Um what if the truck was automatic converted to 5speed, would they have had to swap out the tranny and driveshaft to manual parts? His b22 was originally automatic but previous owner converted it to manual so I wanna make sure were getting the right part

As previously stated, you can use an auto 'shaft in place of the 5 speed 'shaft, but I doubt it'd work the other way.
