Hello.I am looking for help. First I have a 1990 b2200 cab plus. It was sitting for awhile and now i am trying to get it running for son. The motor turns but doesnt start. I figured feul pump. My question is the pump in tank? I ordered it and thats what I got but I have a carb and its standard. A friend pointed one out on engine. Is there two? Thanks.

Ok so i highly doubt it would have two for two reasons: 1 carbs run lower fuel pressure, and 2 it doesn't make sense man! JK but seriously i am almost positive that the one and only fuel pump is located on the motor and if someone sold u a in tank pump for ur truck they need to be taken to court. Like i say not positive almost though i have the service manual but its out in the truck so ill grab that later on and tell ya for sure. Not trying to sound like a dick man just tryin to keep some1 from gettin f***ed for the wrong part.

When new, 1990 B2200 manual transmission carbureted trucks had mechanical fuel pump on the engine, passenger side, hidden under the air cleaner, fuel filter also there.

B2200 Automatic trucks had electric fuel pump in the tank.

Fuel-injected trucks had different electric pumps in the tank.

So only one fuel pump per truck. Who knows what'ts happened in the last 22 years though by previous owners...
