finshed tranny swap, now no reverse!

I just converted from an automatic to 5speed, and when I checked the transmission at picknpull it shifted through all the gears. After installing it on my truck, and testing it for the first time; it would not go into reverse! I drove home with all other gears working fine, but when I go for reverse it is like it wont go all the way. I can't shift into reverse with the truck running or turned off.

other info: truck is a b1800 with a b2000 5speed. I checked forum for answer but found none! Please help!

It is possible that the transmission is fine, however that something is wrong with the shifter linkage or the bushings therein.

Problem solved!!! Damned reverse light sensor was the problem, I had to take it off to resolder a wire back on and I guess it had a spacer... Found a big enough washer to fit and now I have reverse as well as reverse lights! I might try to locate the original spacer when I go back to my shop tomorrow, but for now everything works!
