Ignition trouble

K guys 91 b2600i. Does not start with key but can be jumped at the starter. Just checking if you guys know right off hand if it the ignition switch or not.

Sure sounds like electrical part of ignition switch. Make sure the small wire connector on the starter itself is clean (and connected)

Manuel no safety neutral switch And yes all connections are good

is the switch on your clutch pedal unhooked?

Yea been like that for years

it is either the key switch or the wire going from the clutch switch to the starter... is there a jumper wire on the hooked plug?

No jump wire but I'll check everything out when I get back on land

i had a s10 that wouldn't start unless it had a jumper on the plug i'll run out and check my truck in just a little bit and see if mazdas are the samek
