1991 Mazda b2200 Manual Trans.
Just bought it a month ago for a reliable daily driver. Got it from the original owner at 140K
It is hard to get into gear, sometimes it goes in smooth, most of the time it doesnt. And its just been getting worse I replaced the slave cyl and the clutch master cyl a few weeks ago. Bled it! The slave cyl moves fine! Should i adjust my clutch? Not sure how my trans fluid is.. If it was actually dry would it cause this? I'm new! I'm used to the old VW's! Help! And If i start it in first it jumps forward a little

Thank you for your time

It sounds like you didn't get all the air out of the system. The clutch master cylinder has a pushrod you can adjust too.

Air in the system is the most likely cause. I would definitely try to bleed it again to make sure you don't have any air.

Also, some people on here have reported getting masters and slaves from the parts stores that were bad out of the box. So that can happen.

Also, if a pilot bearing comes apart, a ball bearing can get between the flywheel and clutch, giving you partial engagement of the clutch. This problem can come and go as one ball bearing eventually falls away, but another one gets sandwiched between the two.

In addition to previous advice, it would be best to change the trans oil, and diff oil. In the absence of good records, from a trusted owner, it's safe to assume the trans, and diff oils have not been changed, and are well past due.
