All, My new to me b2200 has no high beams. If I pull back on the switch to the momentary position, they work. If I put the switch in the service position they go out. Low beams work fine.

Just seeing if anyone has had this issue on their rig. I'm not sure if it's the switch or the relay. Does anyone know if the momentary position bypasses the relay? If so, then it's almost gotta be the relay.

Guys, I've narrowed it down to the switch. I jiggled it tonight while I was working on putting the interior back in & they came on for a sec. Then the low beams started giving me fits.

I'm gonna pull the switch & clean it up. I'm sure the contacts are totally polluted.

These switches do go out after decades and age. Here's a great link with photos how to repair yours.

Excellent. Thanks for the link Cusser. I'm hoping it's just dirty. Looking in from the wiper washer switch, you can see quite a bit of filth. I figure the headlight side is just as bad or worse.
