Shifter question

Where can I get a new shifter? The one that's in my truck is destroyed and is sloppy as hell. The little plastic part that's supposed to hold the stick still where it bolts to the trans disintegrated and the boot's torn up. Can just those parts be replaced?

You'll prolly have to get ahold of your local mazda dealer for the parts or maybe the junkyard.

The boots commonly rot away. You can buy universal ones at crappy tire... Haven't tried to make one fit but I think its only like $8... And if it wouldn't you could always return it. I think its a rectangle.

what part of atlanta are you in? have you ever heard of pull-a-part? theres one on buford hwy and one on moreland ave. where 675 splits off of 285.... their prices are unbeatable....
