I have one, right behind water pump, starting to weep a little on my 91 B2600i. Anyone ever have one come out? I noticed several parts houses have these rubber expansion plugs that expand when the bolt is tightened. Where I live I don't think I have to worry about the coolant freezing. I prefer replacing the plug with a similar metal type.

yeah.. get the metal ones. i used to work at a used car dealership and they had me put the rubber expansion plugs in. after a while, they'll start leaking, and they'll eventually come out.

Good suggestions. I saw many pros and cons on using the rubber expansion when searching. I think I'll go with metal. I would like to use brass but nobody stocks them.
