im just looking at some options incase my fuel injection was to ever go out cause i was told it cost around 8-900 to replace it

oh okay i see. i have no idea about the swap. i would assume you would need a carbed intake and strip the harness of everything else but i would talk to someone else first

the b2600i engine was aMazda built engine from 1989 to 1993.It was only made in fuel injected format. To my knowledge there are no factory carbed platforms Mazda or otherwise that will fit this engine. If u r serious about a carb setup,u will need to take the FI intake, modify it to take 45 Weber DCOE sidedraft carbs and go to a ridiculous amount of trouble to get them to work including a fabricated throttle linkage.I have ahd 2 2600i trucks with over 200k miles on them and NO FI problems.Computer issues but the computer can be rebuilt for 150 bucks. My advice.leave it alone and enjoy a very nice truck.

ok thanks for the info i had a guy that owns a junkyard here that has a 89 b2600i 4x4 that said the one i got some parts off of was his old truck and that it had a new motor in it but the fuel injection went out and it was like 800 bucks to replace it so he decided to part it out
