Difference between 87 and 91

I was wondering what the difference (if any) in the starters and the alts on the 87(22k) and the 91(26k). NE help would be thankful

starters should be the same... the alternator is different...
the 87 is a 60 amp alternator while the 91 is a 55 amp.. check out my tech article on swapping the 130amp 95 cobra alternator into your truck... it might seem a little steep (200.00) but it wiull be money well spent if you are running air compressors, amps, etc....

the plugs on the alternators are different as well.... so are the wire colors.....if you are electrically inclined you can figure out the wiring and swap them out....like i did for the 95 cobra alt. swap.

The starters are different.
