Alight i decided not to get rid of my dawg, but somethin is bugging the hell outta me! When i press down the clutch to start it up theres a funny rattling sound from back of the motor, but it only does it when the clutch is being applid.... throw out bearing????????
glad to see you decided to keep the dawg not sure what the raddleing noise is.... hope you get it figured out
Sounds like a throwout bearing to me - that's the only time that bearing spins: when you press down on the clutch pedal.
Thanks buddy, my clutch is catching high too, i think its time for a new clutch and throw out bearing
might as well change both while your there
Thats what I am saying...

do the clutch pressure palte and throw out bearing!!!
I just replaced my clutch it is the second one the first one didn't even last a year. The clutch disk separated all the rivets popped through the disk it started making a growling noise bought a new clutch had it put in got the old one turned it in got my money back thanks limited warranty lol.
seams to be fine now the throw out bearing that came with the kit was up the center was off center so i bought a new one to use. i figure its better than having an off center bearing pushing onthe pressure plate. The throw out bearing that came from the last kit that was removed from the truck was already shot.
Would stay away form dyna pak (Fenco) clutches
