i have a weber, my whole motor is in mock up mode. i hooked up the stock T-cable and theres a little slack in the line (about an inch) so the 2nd-aries dont quite open all the way, do i need to get a new cable or is there anyother way to pick up the slack so i can just hook it up the way it is?

i have a weber and didnt have a problem. make sure you have all your brackets hooked to the cable and you didnt miss one. and if its a holley and not a weber i heard there is cable issues with them.

oh its a weber alright. i even took the bracket off of the cruise control throttle cable, and bent and tweaked it so it would hold the throttle, and bolted it on the drivers side valve cover where the wire seperators used to be.

i guess i'll play with the location of this bracket, see if it will take up some slack.

yeah the cable comes right under the towel, its the only pic i have now, but you see its a weber

I didn't need to do anything special to my 88 B2200 accelerator cable when I added my Weber 32/36 DGEV.

I DID need to make a second bracket though for my Audiovox aftermarket cruise control, see photo

It looks like your adapter plate has factory recess around that one fitting; on mine I had to grind for clearance, over two years ago.
