Truck idles like S**T!

Well my truck has been running great no issues and all of the sudden when I'd come to a light it would idle hella bad! Almost like it was running on 2 of 4 cylinders any of you guys have this issue? No check engine light either truck is a 87 B2200. It only does it sometimes not all the time.

just start on the simple stuff like your distributor cap and rotor, plugs, wires, and fuel filter and then go from there.

Truck developed a new issue check #6, Here's all the symptoms I'm having.
1. Has random idle truck will idle high
2. While idling high if I tap the gas it kicks down and idles like crap
3. Then it will start to idle high again but will take between 5 and 10 minutes to do so
4. Then it will go away under load sometimes
5. But will come back at completely total random times
6. Started dieseling today when I turned it off!

I've checked all my vacume lines and tightened my carb down and other misc. loose nut's. I've also replaced my plugs, cap, rotor, fuel filter, and ran M12 fuel cleaner through the tank. If you got a idea shoot I'll try it

sounds like the timing could be off

My buddys truck was doing similar things. Carb got rebuilt and that seemed to cure the problem.

Well in frustration of what happened today I forgot to update this thread. I got a used carb from a buddy and viola no more carb related issues.
