Hey guys, i just did a weber and header onb my mazda, just curious what the 4 wires going to my tranny are? im guessing ones pair would be for reverse light? any input would me appreciated, it is a 5spd tranny to...

one pair is for the reverse light, one pair is for the neutral safety switch

What is the need for the nuetral safety switch? i thought they used a clutch switch? and its 5 speed...

It's both. Neutral safety switch and clutch switch. The clutch switch is also used for cruise control.

so where does the reverse lights hook up to? mine was an auto and swapped to 5-speed and i have no reverse lights and the bulbs are good.

Put your truck in reverse and get under it. Test the two switches with a volt-ohm meter on the 200 ohm setting. The one that'll read closer to zero is the reverse switch. The other one, by elimination, is the neutral safety switch. This test could also be done the other way around.
