Ok, I'm not a good mechanic first off. Ok, does the crank pulley have to come off to get the lower timing belt cover off? I need to replace the water pump. Also, do you need a pulley puller to get the pulley off? Any help is very much appreciated! Thanks in advance guys

Just a 21mm socket to remove the crank pulley. The water pump is cake to change, you have to remove your fan bracket also. There is one bolt just barely hidden by the bracket. But it is just 4 bolts for the water pump itself. Any more questions, just ask.

You don't have to pull the lower timing belt pulley or the crank bolt. Just take the crank pulley off 6 10mm bolts, then the two lower timing cover bolts off. Take the timing belt off and then I think there's 5 bolts holding the water pump on.

OOPS! Forgot you could take just the pulley off the timing belt gear.
