i've heard the heads don't have adequate cooling ports so the coolant can't be efficient enough. And the trans oil is also cooled by the radiator so as the trans gets hot, it in turn makes the coolant hot, which makes the engine run hot. I'm jus finishin up puttin my 2.6 back together after doin a head gasket set, I'm cleanin up the engine bay, gettin ready for bags, so i'm relocating and moving everything almost. So since everything was apart, I'm putting a seperate trans oil cooler in front of the radiator to hopefully solve the cooling problems

the little rad is for the a/c. u only need a trans cooler if its auto. dont mess with the head. the suggestions are if u have carbed 2.2 then put a 2.0 head cause of solid lifters.
