Fuel Pump

Can anyone tell me what Fuel line hoses is what on a Mechanical fuel pump for our trucks... I believe there's 3 hoses, 2 that run to the left of the Truck, and 1 that runs towards the front. So whats what... Anyone help me out?

two that go to the rear one is feed one is return and the one that goes up front should go to the charcole can

Alright, and what happens if the Feed or Return in blocked.

truck wont run if feed is blocked i had a pice of cardboard in my tank from fuel additive and it would get sukked up againts the feed tube in the tank and kill the engine it would run great then just run out of gas...pulled the tank and found that lil sumbitch and never had a problem since

Alright... Well i had this Solid Bolt on the Right hose connection, which was never there before, I know this for a fact because i changed the Fuel pump on it, and i never put that there... V8mazda4ever bagged my truck, maybe he put it in there for some reason with changing my Tank, and relocating it when it was down there and forgot to remove it? Cause i did brake down on the way home, and Right now my truck wont even stay idling. It ran awesome before it went down there, so i dont know what happened to it. I expected it to Run fine, as when it got there... Im gunna check this out, replace the fuel line, Im gunna have to find another carb to swap out, if this doesnt resolve the issue dammit, and hopefully it works i guess..

I have mine blocked off so that shouldn't be an issue Madmazda. I ran new lines for both return and supply from the cab back and put another line in the bracing for the blow off tube. It would most likely be an issue with your carb. You still have that nikki carb on it or did you run a weber? If you got a nikki, then that would be the first things to look at.

Well i replaced the Rubber line on my Return that was cut and blocked off, and guess what? Were in business... It started up alot better. and it Actually idles now!! i don't need to fight with it at all... And it stays running also, I still have to mess with the Idle abit, When i broke down coming home from it being bagged, i had some issues, and shop on the highway attempted to help me out, but didn't resolve the issue, so i have to Un-do what they did. And There's a return line on there for a reason CiD. I don't know why you'd have your's blocked off... Possible cause yours is EFI, mines Carbed, and still has the same everything on the Reg cab tank that was put in, yours might be different though, it works as a cycle together on a Carbed, to have a fuel line on a Carbed engine, or else it gets to much fuel, and runs like $hit.

Im still gunna replace the carb though...
