Okay, someone help me build a system.

Just got my 01 taco, it's a regular cab, has shitty jensen cd from previous owner and factory 5 1/4 door speakers. Thats it. 2 speaker truck.
I'll tell ya guys what I want, but I'm not sure how to pick and choose or what to look for.

I want 5 1/4 components wiht the tweeter that I can mount in the door panel. I want to get a 2 channel amp to run them. What brand, size, rms etc. what type of components, rms, links help.

I've got VERY little room behind the seat but do have a round recess towards the bottom when I scoot the seat all the way back, perfect for a bazooka tube or something. Going to get an unpowered bazookatube, maybe two, but let's ASSume one for now.... Going to just get an 8" bazooka type enclosure. What sub to put in it, and what amp to drive it ? going to monster cable the whole truck, and I already bought a headunit, wiht front/rear/sub outputs, it's a nice panasonic, HD, Sat, mp3, yada yada yada.

i think MTX or JL sells a formitted sup enclosure, but i would definalty go alpine or kicker for the components/amp

yeah alpine mids/highs kick ass, so do their cd players

I found MB Quartz 5 1/4" components, for 89 bucks shipped new, they're 90watt RMS per side, 180 rms total.


and an alpine 200 watt, 100W rms per side 2 channel amp new for 124 bucks, these sound like decent deals? they're on ebay. Just wanted to check in first, I've heard that mb quartz is good stuff.

YES!!!! mb quartz is good stuff to, just alpine/kicker are my favs lol.u CANT go wrong w/ alpine amps for mids n highs.

Now I need an amp to drive the sub

im running an xtant right now and its not bad but my old solos were my favorite subs of all tmie. l5 15"s just insanely loud!
