Possible choke problem?

hey, alright i dont know whats wrong with my truck, but i think its the choke, but i wanna get some ideason here befor i go too deep into this. alright, i was driving my truck the other day and after about 15min its started making sputtering and coughing noises out of th echaust and feeling really bogged down. eventually it just died. i let it sit fo rthe day then it started back up fine again, but again mad the same bnoises and died. i think its the shoke stuck on....does anyone agree or have any different ideas to offer?

check fuel filter and check your timming check your dizzy cap and rotor

ill check those tomorrow but i think timming is good

could be but make sue you check it cause it is possible to jump a tooth on the belt the truck will run but run like asssss
