i have a plastic fuel cell but has been sitting around with no lid and all kind of stuff in it . what is the best way to clean it? i washed it out with water first and a dead mouse ,some yellow crap and old gas came out but its still not clean.any help would be great.

I would keep using soap and water, then use alcohol to get all water out

Rinsing it with a cup or two of gas before you hook it up is probably a good call also.

ive been doing that (5-6 times) and it is finely clean. i got all 99.9% of the water out im just waiting for the rest to evaporate . i will be sure to wash it out with some gas.

throw some alcohol in there. it might help evaporate the water?

Yeah like I said in my first reply, use alcohol, those gas line antifreeze and water remover is just methyl alcohol
