ok im trying to tune my weber carb and i cant get the idle to go down. its at like 4000 rpms. PLEASE HELP!!!

Turn the idle screw outwards to turn idle down. Blip the throttle so you will know true idle...

If you've already done that, you need to adjust your throttle cable so it has some slack in it when the throttle is fully closed.

Turn the idle screw all tha way out until the throttle linkage no longer touches the screw. Adjust the throttle cable at this point with slight tension on it. Then turn idle screw inwards for desired idle...

...simple as that!

No problem! I might have got it backwards but pretty sure thats how to do it. You should be able to figure it out real quickly though. DO NOT FORGET to adjust your mixture after setting idle speed. Keep adjusting the two until you have a really good mixture at an idle of about 825 rpm.
