Before anyone tells me to search I did but no luck. I see on a couple trucks that all the emissions tubing is gone and it looks a lot cleaner. I know doing a weber conv. would also do this but I'm not want to do this. Somebody mentioned capping the tubes but what in all is involved.

I'm not sure your truck will run properly with the emission hose just capped off, but I don't know for sure as i have never tried it. Is there a specific reason you want to keep the stock carb? A weber is a great improvement you should really consider it. Heres what my daily driver mazda looks like under the hood.

I' removed all the emissions and moved all the electrical under the battery tray.

i took all mine off and im still running the stock carb....i just cut them off but left enough on the ends to pinch shut, after that i went to auto zone and got an air filter with the adapter plate and a longer stud...no problems, just make sure when ur pulling off vacum lines u dont pull the wrong ones

I have a stock carb still, the only vacuum line hooked up is for my vacuum advance, I have to say it runs pretty strong. I have never ridden in another mazda, but I am satisfied with the way mine runs and performs.

Got any picts of this. Which lines do I pull or cap?

Just an fyi, but plugging the lines and and removing the emissions puts the ecu in limp mode and makes you run alot richer. The truck will still run fine (mine ran way better) but your your fuel mileage will go right down the shitter.

go for the weber, it's worth it
