I am looking to put a weber carb and a pacesetter header on my fiancee's truck. I have never done this because my mazda has a rotary. So i guess you could say that i am a rookie to this. I have looked on ebay and some other web sites. Basically what i am trying to ask is where is the best place online to purchase a weber and a pacesetter. I would rather buy from someone that has has done business with a member to this forum.I am willing to spend money for these products and am not concerned about "penny pinching" to save a few dollars. I want to get this right from the begining and not have to do this more than once. I noticed a price difference on some webers on ebay for about $100 difference. I am not exactly sure what weber to buy and any fit kits that would be needed. I want to get reliability and decent gas milage out of the truck. I also want to know if pacesetter sells their headers with some sort of ceramic coating. I know there are plenty of places that sell "ceramic style" coatings. I would rather have the header already coated prior to being shipped. Thank you guys for your help. ---------------------Josh

Pacesetter sells a header with black paint on it just to keep it from rusting in transit. It will rust first time you get it hot.If u buy that one, paint it with 2000 degree ceramic paint before u install it.They also sell a coated one that seems to work ok but it costs more.I run a 34/34 Weber from Redline-works fine but my truck has a cam and some other goodies. Some folks here run the 32/36 with equally good results. The Weber 38 "Outlaw" is too much carb unless ur truck is really modified.Hope this helps.BJ

You can get a ceramic coated header from pacesetter, but you will have to wait 2 weeks longer for them to do it and it will also cost more as well...

I got my carb off of Ebay. As Bj said, stay away from the 38, it is way to much. I have the 32/36 and like it a lot.

I got my ceramic header from truckperformance.com It was the best price I could find at the time, and I have done business with them more than once.

Once you get all this stuff on, go right down to a carb tuning shop , thats knows webbers, and have them tune it.

Does the header alone make a differance in power?
