Quick question.
Im new to the Mazda B series scene but ive been doing a little looking around for making it a bit more peppy.
Im not looking to making a ton of power.

Ive read alot about Weber carbs , pacesetter header and full exhaust.
How much of a gain can i expect?
Another fun killing factor about my truck is that its automatic , but i kind of want to keep it that way. Ive had manuals for the past 8 years and its kind of nice to not mess witha clutch hehe.

Weber carb, stiffer springs,Paeco mild street cam, billet crank pulley, ported and polished head,2.25 exhaust all the way back,Flowmaster 40 muffler, hotter ignition and mines an automatic.Stock dynoed at 79 rwhp, now 122 rwhp. Not a lot but enough for me.Not much change in top end because of 3.91 rear gears, but much better low and mid range grunt.BJ

Sounds good. Maybe in a couple of months ill go with the Weber , pacesetters and full exhaust. Like i said right now i dont need to hawl ass but eventually when i can afford it i may swap a small block on there. We'll see....

85 hp stock for the carbed 2200,91 for the FI 2200,about 110 for the 2600i.none of them are going to win any drag races.Lol.BJ

now-now bj, I once beat a lawnmower! lol haha!

power wise in stock form they sux, before you go swappin parts marco, check to see if you have to worry about smog inspections, that can have a major effect on what you can do to the weak motors....

80hp I think.

Performance-wise these trucks don't look great on paper but honestly I've never been disappointed with my B's stock power. That being said, I wouldn't mind some headers and a better carb, but the engine suits the truck well IMO.
