steering arms

did any of you have any problems with your steering arms hitting the frame? im sure you did. i know you can notch the frame, but what did you do on the drivers side about the steering box? is there possably a new steering arm you can buy, if so from who?

what problems are you having with the steering box? Everyone notches the frame for the tie rods in order to lay out. Are you having with the steering linkage to the wheel binding up?

on the passengerside yea you have to notch. mine comes CLOSE to hitting the pitman arm on the DS but it doesnt, hit the frame and bent it a lil.

the passenger side is notched, but you cant do shit with the drivers side because of the steering box. If you lay it out and hit or bend the steering arm, you will never be able to alighn that thing. I think I am about to just build a whole new custom set of tie rod ends and fix the whole problem.

we just custom built new tierod ends for the ranger and now shes layin frame with no cutting on the frame. Yes layin frame on 20's and beams. if anyone may be interested in these custom tierod ends let us know.
